These are life skills your child should know!

Brush up on these skills:

* Have your child memorize their first, middle & last name

* Have your child memorize their birthdate.

* Have your child memorize their address.

*Have your child memorize the first and last name of both parents.

Knowing these things will come in handy if your child ever gets lost.
Growing Up
Starts with Potty Training

Your child is ready when:

* She starts knowing when she has a dirty diaper & wants you to change it.
*She takes off the dirty diaper by herself.
*Starts moving into a corner or behind a couch to go to the bathroom in her diaper.

Model the behavior:
*Let your child see mom and dad using the restroom. Children naturally want to mimic adults.

Use Incentives
*Boys learning to pee in the toilet love to have targets such as Cheerios or Fruit Loops to hit.
*Celebrate when your child uses the potty.
*Make up a happy potty dance.
*Give them a sticker every time they go to the potty.
*Make it fun!
